Well, this was hard going...getting on the foil l mean. Still again better than staying on shore. Tomorrow is also not supposed to be much better but we will see.

Burrum Heads, QLD, AU. Day #5 Sail #5. SLW, 7.5 , 47cm. It was bad, because there was not enough wind to get my kit going, but it was also good. Because it rode the tide out as I went into a dreamy sleepy state. I discovered the tide practice machine - up against the bank going into current I found that I was stationary but still sailing. With enough pressure in the sail to still work, I could hang off it while going nowhere and practice turns. Wild. Made it out to the end where I had a proper nap up on the sand. Then rode the tide home again. Going straight down wind with the tide I called out to Tibor, ‘I’m gonna beat ya Tibor’ then dropped the sail and fell in. Jinxed it. Just carrying the kit down the sand at the start in the sun watching crabs was worth it. Beautiful.
