19 days ago Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. First sail ever here. Nice to rendezvous with Ian and Tibor to try. It was sweet, just enough wind and smooth enough then it wasn’t, fin died when wind went below 10kts and I started to think foils might be good as they were going, just .
1 or 2 more kts was all I needed though.
Probably could have went the 8.5 sail but scared of this qld super squally weather.
Stoked to get another go on the trip.
