 Missed it by 20 mins..

I got all excited while rigging as there was a lot of 10-12kts patches and I thought I'd have a good planing session. My expectations were too high. Andrew got a good 20 mins but by the time I got out it had dropped right off.

 I got 2 patches of 10-12kts which got me going for a couple of 100ms. That was really nice. One day I'll get enough consistent lightwind to plane the whole session and that combo will be great.

Almost didn't make it back past the point when it died and swung more E. Luckily a short leg and I managed to get in. Even Suzie had to kneel to get in on the wing.

 Oh well it didn't rain which was nice . It was better than yesterday at Valentine when I arrived to 15-18kts  .  I rigged and got all 3 boards out to dry and then it pissed down for an hr and killed the wind.

I wandered around in my wettie getting colder and colder and eventually gave up. I got warmly dressed and packed up after the rain stopped. Closed the van tailgate and got soaked from water on the top..  Of course the wind came back in as I drove away..
