A nice Easterly today. Probably the last for the season and it did not kick-in in the afternoon as there is no sea breeze effect now, too cool. But the advantage was that it was pretty much the same all day at about 17-22 knots.

5.8m Koncept, iSonic 87, Select Lightning medium 34cm (I was quite impressed!Smile)

I started at about 12.45pm and had a go at the 1 hour over high tide. Quite choppy but OK. Had a break from 2pm to 3pm and than had a go at some alphas but it was just not windy enough for really good Alphas. I was very impressed that I could pull 30-31 knots sometimes on the in-run but there was just not enough wind power to accellerate back to speed after the gybe.

Discovered a new possibility for a NM in an Easterly by going up the Yanakie channel and broad reaching back to the carpark, but again the wind was a bit soft for 30kt +. When it is stronger it may be too choppy.

Tom and Craig put in a big day with Craig starting at sunrise!!!! - again!Surprised

A fun day!!!!Laughing

A fun day,but ran out of daylight and wind. Started at 8am and finished at 6 with 2 short stops. The sessions damage bill is..1 boom, destroyed the KA 5.8(3 holes in one crash when i found the bank at 30kts) 2 feet(both have holes in them from straps) and 1 Garfish which I caught around my fin.I thought it was a plastic bag untill I stopped. It lived to swim again.Who need fishing rods.

Yeah nice one Craig.  Carn the pit crew!  Great to see that you're on the water again - not so good to hear about the 5.8 damage - time for a replacement?  Great work though...
