This session was magic! I have been windsurfing since 1982, and can't remember a better one. Much more active in hunting out the gusts, and aggressively running with them. Thanks for the mentoring, Ian! Smile The price to be paid is then having to work back up wind. The tracks diagram looks like a lot of random scribbles - not too many are parallel.

I think I've found the practical maximum speed for the JP / Naish combo; cannot imagine it going much faster, but it was beautifully balanced all the time.

XCiteRide 130, with Naish 7.3 Sprint sail, and JP 44cm fin.

Bristol, come down to a 33-35 JP supersport  fin, it will crank up a bit then, and not too much hastle getting back up wind either. (Wind and Snow probably have some good used jobs available)
