Nice flat day at Lucky Bay. Wind was a bit patchy but filled in a bit later in the arvo. Lots of good gybe and tack practice.

Sailed at peli today, really choppy and wind was up and down and up and down. Had a couple of good runs but my boom broke in two Yell so couldn't really do much more.

Had a some runs with marcel, was still great to get out on the water !! Smile

Short late sesh at Melville.

Sailed up to Pt Wally for a few speed runs.  A few decent gusts rolling through.

Drove back from Lano today (4 days and no real wind Undecided).  It looked like firing today and we had to leave, so this was my consolation sail!

Long day.

Got to Hardies to be greeted by 12 knots, "I can get going in this" says Optimist Prime, slog slog slog crunch I find the rocks on the inside of the run.  Quick bit of sanding later and the wind picks up to 15 knots, others start to arrive, I get in a few k's before breaking my little toe in a fluffed gybe Yell  Back at the beach I hear that Crasher's going to go for a 1 hour, so I chase him around for a while.  This is a PB by over 3 knots, in fact my second 1hour is also a PB!!!  Cool  Very happy with this.

Cranked out the K's with my broken toe until my back told me that it was time.  Still got a PB for distance so happy with that.

Hopefully between myself and Lao we can move the Pinnas up the table a bit in the distance category Cool

Long day. Got down to Hardie's to see Nebbs floating around and wasn't filled with confidence. Took the battleship out for a while with the 7.6 until it became a bit unruly. Had to watch out for Crab hunters and snorkelers way out from shore. Changed to the 5.8 with the JPFSW which was a bit underpowered but kept chugging away. Found the rusted steel pipe on the way out and gouged a big chunk from the underneath of the board!Yell

Changed to the slalom 84 as the wind continued to build and started to go for some Nmile runs. Ended up with 4 over 29knots and just 0.02 knot short of a PB.

New top speed for this set up with the 29cm Elmo weedy 34.05 but fastest run came from a single run on Sam's Carbon Art RS combo. First ever proper run down close to the pipes.(Thanks SamCool) looked very weird watching a thin little paddlepop stick under your feet as you tear down the course but gybed nicely through the chop and remarkably controllable. (33knt 500 PB on that run, should have taken it for a mile!)

Didn't go for hour as I kept fiddling with settings (in between damage) sorry Nebbs. Kept going till I hit 90 miles. Big respect for Nebbs on a huge day in those conditions and even more so with a broken toe you nutter!

Thanks to MM for letting us use their strip. Good to meet up with so many of the SRM and MM.
