6355 days ago YEEEEEEHAAAAA
A very bad day at work put and end to my planned dash to Hardies this arvo so i did a PB in going 41 minutes from leaving work to stepping on the board, I also have PB'b my most number of sessions in a month and the month is not even half over, still had steam coming out my ears from the work fiasco today until i read the GPS at the bottom of my first speed run 37.01 wooohooo
My next run down the bar was the fastest for the day with 37.45 GPS display, 38 is remaining elusive to me GRRR
after about an hour my downhaul rope snapped so i jury rigged and limped back to the beach, had to change the entire base of my XT extension as the new rope was refusing to grip, went back out for a bit but after 3 consecutive sub 35 runs called it a day
Didn't even try one gybe today purely seeking 2 sec and 5 by 10 and have had a great success
Safety Bay, Carbon art SP50 NP RS Slalom II 5.8 and my mighty sawn off FO Fin, TODAYS RESULTS ARE MERGED FILE FROM gt11 AND GT31 (oops caps lock) the 11 had overall faster speeds today but they both agreed on max display
Hope you guys smashed it on the run today

6355 days ago 2 categories Alpha day, wind not quite there for big speeds. Well done Adam. You did better at SB than you would've at Hardies. T1 Fast X 117, Gaastra Vapor 6m Hybrid 27cm. Bad luck Sam on the Cobbler sting.

Quick sesh at Hardies with a few crew.Alot of different members present. First run was my best one. Wind went a bit iffy after that. Was hoping it to nuke but as always! Had fun wich was the main thing. Learning more how to tune my gear every day

6355 days ago 1 categories wind didn't really happen, so played around with alphas on the 6.0 lightning. Going to have to put a 2nd marker in, still went way too wide on a couple. got two 24kt at 70m.
Also need to shift the marker further North so it's out of the way of the speed run.

6355 days ago Lechenault inlet(windless hole)
SW that looked 15-20knts that turned out to be 10-15knt
F2 SX XL, X-15 7.7m, 40cm Choco weed(should have rigged the 8.4m)
It was crap and shallow and then it died to 0-5knts

Had Muppet cam on top of my head today trying to get some footage, wind never realy came in as it looked like it would.
Followed Sam down on a run but the camera seemed to suck the wind from his sails ended the run got my best Alpha of the day, thought I'd give alphaland a go and low and behold having a camera on top of your head trying to get some reasonable footage makes you gybe better . Was sure the fin was draging on the bottom at times but I was having a ball .
Though I had some PB alpha's there but got home and realised I'd fatarsed them and gone outside the 50 , still I'm stoked I think I'm finally starting to get my head around this turning malarky .
Huge thanks to Hards for making me work twice as hard and get of my fat lazy arse to improve my sailing, Thanks Bud you've giving me the inspiration I needed, I'm having a ball .
Will try to post some muppet cam.
Sam I hope your foot doesn't give you to much grief
