Nice little play out of Melville Beach after work in 18-22ish knots. Sailed down to Peli Pt, then up to Point Walter, which was crapola as usual; 8-15 knots up there. Hung around there for a while with a few crew hoping for the big gust that never came, and then high tailed back out into the middle of the river again where there was decent breeze, and where I got my best speeds, despite the chop.

I guss that proves that wind + chop beats no wind + flat water every time.

Tabou Manta 59II, North Warp F9 6.3m, Talon 32. Nice fin - it was amazing upwind and yet I still felt I could have done with a little more fin to smooth out the chop on the broad reaches.

nice arvo sess launched out of peli where ado convinced me to go up to pt walter, where it was pretty gusty and a little too shallow and rocky for my liking. decided to head back to shitsville where it was on and off gusty..returned to peli where it was more steady.

and practised trying to turn the big board...fun summer sess
