What a day instead of a ENE it ended up being ESE more towards the SE side making the course very very broad actually downwind and entering the course you have a rolling swell coming through which you couldnt hit it full on but we managed to squeeze out the speeds through the rest of the run.

As soon as the tide started to drop more the wind got gustier and the course got more choppy which was not worth going for a 10sec run anymore.

Tried the new 6.3 loft out and man that hammered but i still wouldnt mind of trying the 7.0 in those conditions but it would have been a too far walk back...

CA Speed 50 , 6.3 Blade , 23cm assy ka lockwood.

Stoked to get over 40knts again. Got down a little late and missed the best of the tide, still great fun to be on the speed kit again. It's been awhile. Course was very broad and choppy a little under done on the 5.9m

It was very broard and alot of times down the run I run out of wind oh well cannot complan to muchWink

First time on the 6.3 awesome sail to use I look forward to using this one abit more.

Proud to be a Moreton Bay Mobster - Well done guys (no doubt our 3 top sailors showing their wares)  Sounds like those Loft Blades are doing their trick too.

BTW - how windy was it down there?  We had +40knots yesterday & then 50knots overnight (wildest conditions I've seen for a very long time)

@ vjeko

if you think of GPS Speed Surfing site, I think that Chris Lockwood is Top of 2010 with 45.03 Knots

http://www.gps-speedsurfing.com/?mnu=user&val=56676&uid=203

Isn't it or I was looking wrong data...

If you think for monthly record then yes http://www.gps-speedsurfing.com/default.aspx?mnu=monthrankings&Year=2010&Month=2&Tab=0&Gender=0&WeightClass=0&AgeClass=0&SpeedType=8
