iS122, 8.8 CRed, 46 Venom - Yeppoon, Wind ESE 11 - 20knots

Looked like I wasn't going to get to sail this weekend as the wind was only around 9knots at 3pm but I thought I'd rig up and go for a short slog to flush a hangover away.  Eventually got on the water around 4pm and the wind seemed to be picking up with some storms around.  First half hour was okay but then wind filled in and had a blast.  Probably the most enjoyable sail I've had for a while and only came off once.  The ocean was choppy but didn't have any big swells to contend with as well as there's been no wind since wednesday. This combo is a pleasure to sail with the new Mauisails carbon boom too.
