Quick session from Mossie Park to Wallyworld. A few nice gusts coming through but I think I missed the best of it.

Good to clear out the cobwebs after a day of moving agro. 23 + alpha at each end of the bar, surprised they were that good.

5m - Mettams to Sorrento

Wind dropped out after Mettams, should have rigged bigger but still some fun.

Comfortable on 5.7 + 85L Sonic in the gusts, needed bigger for lulls & inshore

Wind started around 23 knots and dropped off to 17

Had a fun time.

I should say thankyou for backing me up. I didn't think anyone else was going out.

Unfortunately I have commitments that prevent me sailing Thursday afternoons so Wednesday was as close as I could get.

Hope that wind eventuates for you all!

and Toby, a sign that I am hooked? Let me count the ways...

Thankyou!

Can anyone tell me what the D's and X's next to the stats mean?

D = Doppler.
T = Trackpoint.
X = Don't know Wink

Basically it depends on which GPS you're using, and how you've set up your software as to which one to pick.

If you're using a NAVI, and you've set your divisions to "Doppler if available" then use Doppler.  This is the preferred option.

^^^^^^^^^^^^

Anita, when you go in to post your data, there is a small tab box under each category, select Doppler for that.

On your GPS select Doppler

On realspeed on each division, tab the EDIT tab on the FILE EDIT VIEW TOOLS HELP bar at top. This will bring up a small window titled

EDIT DIVISION DIALOG. across the bottom "calc using" select "DOPPLER IF AVAILABLE"

If your stuck text and I will give you a call and walk you through it.
