Down the pit for the day, wind was a bit late coming in, and with my inexperiance of the Pit, i took off often to early and missed the really good fronts of wind, last run of the day was the best wind fully powered up but the rain and sand was so intense i couldn't focus on the run and had to pull out half way, soft . It took a few runs to get fimilar with the board and fin but feeling comfy now, looking forward to the next time.

A bit more food for thought..... Nine hours of driving, nine runs at approx 1min a run, so nine minutes of sailing give or take a few minutes, and about 9 klms of walking in 10deg of howling sand and rain. Not sure why we do it, but i do know i will be back there next time Wink

40.36 max, 38.57 ave... that's why we do it. When most mortals are shivering on the couch growing roots in front of the telly, we are out there, confronting those conditions and GETTING FUN OUT OF IT. THAT'S A LIFE WELL LIVED...

Great effort Jacques!!

PS: I have to convince mysef that we are not too crazy...
