JP SLW 154L, NP RS6 7.8m, Leading edge formula weed 50cm

Dawn patrol on the easterly with Steve, Far Kennel it was cold lasted just over half and hour before lost feeling in hands and feet.

Second session on the SLW, couple of tweeks from the other day (mast foot back 5mm and a bit more down haul on sail) bore some results although the board was still a bit sticky on the front going down wind, which I'm pretty certain will be resolved with another 5mm of mast foot movement.

Still think theres 30 in this combo.

Breeze was nice, wasn't strong enough to call it wind great fun having a blast around with Steve before work, whole lotta fun, great way tio start the day, of to work with a smile on the dialCoolCoolCool

Hardies Run, WA, AU

Iso 105, 7.8.RSS

Arrived at Novarra 0520, cold and dark. Faffed for a while wondering whether to go 7.8  or 7.0. sat in car with heater on and wondered about going home!

elmo arrived and I went for it... and had a great time. Good gybes for first 50 minutes then decided I shoul have front arm straighter and in front more Duh why would you change from what was working? Blew next 2 gybes.

Oh well had a great early morning sail, at work by 8.

Hope for repeat tomorrow but will try for alphas on Waihu instead.

It turned out it was my 5th fastest hour ever, only powered fully for about 5 mins of the hour, wind picked up as we left. I am sure there are pbs for the taking in these conditions.

Photos (for Snides benefit Tongue out)first is the powered boat channel
