LOCATION:  ANGLING CLUB

WIND:  W-SW- <25 KNOTS

TIDE:  HIGH TO OUTGOING

SAILORS:  Gerry, Richie (Captain 30 the Marvellous!), Phil

GEAR:  JP Super Sport 136, 42 cm g10 down to JP Excite Ride 110, 34 cm fin, KA Koyote 5.9

DETAILS:   Another great session on the Inlet.  Got down around 10-ish and the tide was too full for any flat water.  The wind was 15kts gusingt to 20 so I took out the Excite 110 and 5.9 Koyote.  The wind died for about half an hour at lunchtime so I went up to the 136 SS.  Richie rocked up and I was contemplating going up to the 6.6 Koyote but he said to give it fifteen minutes.  Sure enough the wind filled in and the tide had dropped enough to make a run along the entire strip a possibility.  Once again there was super smooth water down the bottom end and it was passabile on a 34cm fin right up until when the tide was at its lowest.  The last few runs were done at the boat ramp end of the strip but by that time the wind was fading.

Yes, I can attest that Richie was at work.  I only went down to the Inlet just to check that he wasn't wagging!

Great speeds there Rich!  Very closely matched...the only reason I reckon I got a good 1 hour was the earlier session before you rocked up...I sailed from about 10-12 non stop and even though it wasn't super smooth, it was planing all the way!

I've gotta get a job like you guys, i've been sitting at my desk all week dreaming of a sail while watching the trees bend over.
