A good day on the bank... but TOO BUSY... freestlye windsurfers, freestyle kites, speed kites, speed sailors, recreational flat water sailors ... must have been the busiest it's ever been.... but still the SUN was shining and the wind was blowing.. Nice to meet you Alex BB :-)

first time at the bank at hunny and pleasantly suprised friendly bunch - finally met tris great chap! course was square so no fruity speeds i always struggle with that combo and a square course....need a bigger fin i think and a touch too much downhaul  kinda got to the course late...didnt know it was there til i went to the van and saw it in the distance so grabbed the sp50 and did one, got 6 semi decent runs in before tide came.

great to feel a speed board rattlin again...too long!

high of the day. standing on a flat fish and feeling it trying to swim with no sucess

low of the day, loosing a chunk of toe to a razor shell

Proper gust fest at Rutland.  Could have been quite happy on 5.0 and 7.8 barely seconds apart so was never really settled - made it exciting tho!!!

There was a nice little speed strip going on in front of the club in the massive gusts so tried to make use of that.  Egg shell chop on rest of lake was teeth rattling.

Wind shadow not as bit as it looked, and 7.3m nice size. Sea had smooth rollers for a while but when High cam sea turned a bit messy. Boom broke out to sea, but luckily side to sail back in was OK. Took a while to realise I had another boom. When wind picked up used 6m/94l which was quite nice. Wind up and down a bit, but always planed. Enjoyed the warmth, sun and sailing a lot; and good to see quite a few mates. Ellen a bit miffed that my early morning session to catch the best wind turned into an all day session, but still had super pasta and plum crumble waiting. Lovely day.
