Dean Withrow (5614km): ![]() Late season session at the Kennedy Slick. 3 other sailors joined me on a windy SW day in Hyannis. Congrats to my sailing buddy/teammate, Peter broke 30 knts for the first time today!! I'm sure there will be plenty more. Once again the wind was square to the wall, but we were able to head off slightly before hitting the hell chop. Great time and more to come,,, Tuesday is looking like a 40 knt day, yumm. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Peter (50687km): Great SW wind in Kalmus. Sailed up to the Kennedy Slicks when the chop got to bad. Spreader bar broke on the last upwind leg, killed my forearms to sail in without a harness. Did not have the energy for more than one run on Dean's Manta & TR6 6.6, and I held back a lot on that run. Sailed Hawk 95 with 4.5 m wave sail (Manic). Saw 30 knots on the GPS for the first time today, but it was just for 1 sec. Still nice. Had some nice jibes - the harbor is jibe heaven! Great day, right after a great day of wave play in Skaket. The forecast for tomorrow also looks great! | ||||||||||||||||||
