What a hectic social day :) saw loads of people this morning including my sister who I haven't seen for ages !!! when I got a call from my mate Neil Hurrell to say he was at The Dip. So I said my goodbyes and took my gear down, sadly the forecast 15/20 mph didn't arrive - nothing new here on the East Coast, the wind never makes it here :( but it was such a nice day 13 degrees and wall to wall sunshine that we both rigged 9.4's and headed on a beat down the coast in about 10/12 mph just enough to rail up on the plate :# We past the work of installing rock groynes at The Fludgers and onto the end of the beach at Landguard - we both managed to take a dip while tacking :# We then stopped for a tea and chocolate bar before returning to The Dip on a runny/reach where the wind had picked up a little and I nearly made 20 kts !!! So a top couple of hours out in the sun with a good friend :)
