5306 days ago The forecast looked great and I thought that it would be a good day to try to beat the v-max record for the lake.
Instead, I think I set a new PB for amount of time spent balancing in lulls, sunk up to my harness!
When gusts came through they were really hard to deal with and I scared myself a couple of times, almost going over the handle bars when they pulled me out of shape in nasty chop.
I was really after a new v-max record for the lake but pleased to have improved on the 10s + 100m slightly (+0.5 knots) in addition to breaking 30 knots for 500m (+1 knot).
