Pointman (30156km): 5261 days ago 2 categories Downwinder from Ledge pt to Lano with Bender. Futura 111 + 7.6 TR7 + JP 36 weedy. Breeze was on the light side (15-18K) and I was a bit underdone on this combo. After pulling in to the beach half way for some tuning adjustments I slogged out for 10 minutes before I got planing while Ben did laps around me. Breeze picked up a little and I was fine from then on. This set up is very comfortable in the chop, but I probably should have used my big board and 8.4. Might have another crack today.
