Pelican Point, WA, AU

85 Sonic, mended (Thanks Steve!), 4.7 Tushy Storm, 28 vector, 20 -25 knots + swell and chop

Gybe lesson. Who would have thought I'd get a 27 on a little wave sail in that swell and chop without really trying? A PB for this sail, which I haven't used in about 18 months, and a fifth best 2 sec for me. Fun fun fun. More like wavesailing at Peli today. Didn't try to complete any gybes today, just working on approaches and carving.

Nice to meet Pugsie who came and introduced himself. I have a poor memory for faces so please come and introduce yourself again next time you see me.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

good sail was a bit lumpy and a bit gusty but i was fine on what will be my new fav combo

i recon on a better day perhaps down at SB or mandurah this combo has a smoking alpha in it

had a play with another couple of fins in the mistral today started of with the stiff 32 pointer and was going really quick every where except for when i went for a few runs down the bar and then the few runs i did at wally world too, just didn't feel right and i wasn't going very quick, went in swapped to the 24 weedy predictibly tricky upwind, better on the run but still didn't feel quite right even when i went back over to wally world for a second hit, i did get my best speed with the 24 but i feel that i could of had it faster with another fin perhaps my soft 30 pointer would have been better Undecided

swapped back onto the 32 to go for some alphas but the wind went even gustier but everyone hopped off the water other than slowie, snides, me and a couple of others, the water flatened out and i got a few more 31's down the bar, but was probably the best sail i've had in a long time just out with a few freinds with the sun setting on some nice flat water and a little bit of wind Smile

6.2 reflex, 57 mistral, 32 ? pointer, 24 custom weedy

Mettams to Sorrento, 5m ezzy wave, 79l kombat.

WOW - that blew away the cobwebs and replaced all the soreness and achess with new ones.

I wish we could have those conditions for a LOC !

Some nice waves/ seas to run in , the 24 knots felt a lot faster than that. kept it on the water most of the time but did manage to tweek an ankle. Must stop landing jumps and go back to just crashing them, its a lot safer. All so fast and furious no time to notice wildlife.

There were 14 sailors and one kite at Mettams when I went back to get the car, overcrowded in my opinion.

was having way too much fun to notice how far i'd gone

funny though i could feel it rigging up and while i was sailing that it was still sore but unlike when i did it yesterday it didn't really effect my sailing, although i did take it easy on the jybes which is where i suspect i got the injury from to start with

i also spent about 30 mins sailing from the outside spit into the beach about 2km towing shane after his mast snapped, that was really hard work

and this is one of the reasons everyone should always take an uphaul rope with them

Nah, was too busy spamming you Mineral...

Actually got the GPS out today, turned it on, "low battery" message... sigh... Will put it on to charge in a sec...

Wind was OK as wellWink Fully lit to over-powered on the 2009 Blade 6.2 with the new 2011 Carbon Art Slalom 69Wink 96.  What a sweet sweet board.  Straight to the bedroomCool, or is that pool room??? I think the GPS numbers would have been OK as well... particularly after I got the footstraps to the right tightness... Holding on with the toes in that much wind is a little muchTongue out

Maybe tomorrow???

Windxtasy - hi - I might have met 10 of the team nowUndecided

Nicely done, Windxtasy and Scarrgo!Laughing

After 2 full days of event organisation and numbers last week I just enjoyed 2+ hrs of free sailing. No numbers, no run.

I am sticking to my resolution of only speed sailing the really good forecast.

Team needs an Hr, mile and some good distance. Scarrgo and Pugsie talk to each other and decide on your targets.

Dutchies for me again today.
