Pelican Point, WA, *B161, CR10m

Very light day off Peli. One nice long run whne I hit the water about 3.20pm but the wind dropped and didn't come back. I guess I got fooled by the 15-17kt arrows as I was packing the car so the 11m got left at home. scarrgo had a quick blat and looked like he enjoyed the Formula Feeling.

Here's hoping for tomorrow!

thanks for the try macka the schools 121 futura and 7.5 gator just don't quite cut it in that stuff

board size wasn't much of a surprise to me as i regularly get 200 od litre starboard starts up and planing but the pure grunt in the sail even in no wind was incredible, it was so much of a blast i was laughing the whole way out before i went for a jybe Undecided

not very surprised again that i couldn't really push hard enough on the other rail to turn the board but then when i flipped the rig it just fell over Yell

i suppose thats what you get when you spend 3 hours in the morning teaching a begginer coarse on a 3m^2 Undecided

i tell you what macka i thought that was your 11 i'm glad it wasn't i wouldn't have been able to uphaul it, as it was i was only able to get it back upright with a little help from the wind

i had alot more fun in my short two runs than i thought i would and i can definatly see the attraction of them but i think so long as theres no racing and decent fleets in WA i will stick to the 49er

i'm working again at peli so no gps but might see a few people around the car park and on the water if we're not too busy
