A nice sail at the Pit in sunshine with Mal F. Tides were a bit wrong for having a epic session as the strong wind was forcast for latter in the day when the tide was racing in, but......It was great fun in the 25-30 WSW wind and had some good practice on the 2013 5.8 and i love it. Felt very light and when the gusts hit it just lit up with no effort from the ridder. Carn,t wait for a solid 30kt day as this will be a Pb sail i think, worked really well on a skinny. Couldn,t find anymore 42s and the tide was racing in so i pulled the pin and headed to Invy for a second session.

The Invy washing machine was working over time today, with swell comming from all directions on the high tide. Wind was going from 20 to mid 30s so it wasn,t an enjoyable sail and i struggled to push the board off the wind. Called it a day fairly quickly after a few big squalls flicked me off, still happy to record a 29 2 sec and a 26 10sec in all that slopp.

Fibreworks 41/ halfdoneantiweed21 fin/ rs6-5.4

Bent an old G10 Mauifinco32 pointer over to 45', slimmed it down by 3mm, hacked the draught back to 50%. Yet to add some reverse twist strands across the pressure side as it is way flexi but thought best to try it first. Seems to work better than anything else i've used as it is. Feels very safe.
