Shell Beach 18 - 22 knots - blew the top out of my 6.6 rigging on the beach.

Thought that was the end of my sailing but got bored sitting on the beach for an hour, so rigged the 7.5 for a powered-up NM across the bay.

Last day of the trip and the Left Breast turned it on one last time.

Got down there around 2 and it was fresh, so hit the water on the Mistral 95 + 7.6 TR7 + 32 Goldwing.

First half hour on this set-up was OK, but I was struggling to get going after my gybes, so came in and switched to the Mistral 112 + 40 Sting.

Had more fun on the bigger board, more pace through the lulls and turns.  Went for a few miles, but never quite powered up enough the whole way to crack a 30.

A sweet little sesh to wrap up the trip.  It's been a helluva good week.  Thanks to my compadres for the good times and good company Cool

Nice way to finish off the trip with a cruisie sail on beautiful clear blue water.

Felt a bit beaten up after yesterday's session. Hit the water with the intention of a cruise but there were sweet runs across the bay nicely lit and decided on an hour mission. 21 gybes and a best Hr for the year. Great fun.

Called it quits after and played with the GoPro trying to get some footage for Grumpy.

Super hour Lao! You should have passed the word around for backup.

JJ, these 30 knot naughties are becoming a habit! Keep it up!

Looking forward to having my sailing buddies back. Not that I've had time to get out anyway. Too much shopping and catering to do at this time of year. Frown
