Sailed with Steve. Very up & down. Rigged up to small. Forecast was wrong.

Ok Sail in the gusts. As we came in Graeme was heading out on his new gear.

I-Sonic 101, 6.7m VMG, 31cm JP Weed.

Real light wind stuff, only made remotely possible by the generousity of Mick - Wouldnt have even got above my ankles without the Koncept 8.3. Thanks so much man, the few runs that I got were soo much fun. Water soo smooth and everything just beautiful.

Wind went S-SE after that, looked like Miller and a few others were going to get some decent runs. Pugs, hope you got some good runs mate...

Any one want to get rid of big cammed sails? Im in the market now!! So much better than my North Natural....

Fanatic Falcon 125, jp 36 weedy, Koncept 8.3.

Umina Beach, NSW, AU

Wave sailing gear in a Southerly of 12-16 knots

NP Atlas 6.2m + Naish 8'9" 98L board + 26 cm JP weed wave fin

Pretty lumpy & bumby when I first got there but the wind was OK. Waves were 3' to 6' but as the tide dropped they got a little smaller but the wind also dropped in sympathy. Some flatter water between the waves began to appear which allowed a few faster runs. Still managed a couple of stacks in the waves but nothing major. The water near "Shark Alley" was getting flatter as the day went on, but the wind also became less so water starts there were made as short as possible.

Managed to do 2 and a half hours straight and boy, were my fingers and hands sore by the end of it!

A good wave session. Go Marauders!!

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Arrived at 7, to be dissappointed with a light SW. Waited 4 hours hoping it would kick in and never did. Left to go camping and of course while setting up tents the wind finally kicked in. 7.5 Koncept my new 121 Falcon (thanks Larko) 31 jp weedy. Sitting in front of campfire now writing this post. LG!! Go Marauders!!!!
