4812 days ago Barnstable Harbor at mid-tide. Warp 71, Matrix 7.0, BPF WS34. The coldest day in a while, with temps just above freezing, but since it looked like Dean down in Hatteras would get nice wind today, I decided to sail, anyway. Skaket look a bit too wild, so I waited until the tide dropped enough for the marsh islands to come out in Barnstable Harbor, and sailed there. Good thing I did - lots of fun, the spot definitely has potential in N-NW! Stopped after an hour because the area where I was sailing got too shallow.

Dean Withrow (5614km):
4812 days ago  2nd day in Hatteras, wind stayed steady all day (9am to 6pm) in the low twenties out of the NE. Perfect day on the water, sunshine and steady wind... gotta love it! Not a day for speed as the water was too deep (crazy chop) until it blew out in the late afternoon. I did come close to a PB for the mile without knowing it, (it was basically a beam reach). Got some great video (with the Hero3) of the few sailors out. Beautiful day!
