Toody (4147km):  Green Island, QLD, AU. Kode 94, 6.0 Gator, 23 drake Have spent the last two days frothing over 35-45 knot winds at Green with no chance of getting out on the water !! Finally got out today!! 20-24knts warm and sunny. New seasons sails arrived just havent had the chance to get them to the Island yet, not bad really because I love this Kode/Gator combo !! JP slalom vii 91 Loft Blade 2012 7m2 Sting 2 36 then Vector Delta 25 (worked surprisingly well) 30-80cm of thick seaweed on the Northern Beach of the Island-never seen anything like it before -brought in by the huge winds earlier in the week Memories of Lake George came flooding back on entering the water ... Arlington Reef Thurs was registering gusts to 45 Knots !! Nice start to our season here in FNQ... | ||||||||||||||||||
Trojan (9095km):  Mackay, QLD, AU After a solid week of rain it was good to get on the water again. Took Tuesday off hoping for a sail but got skunked with a big rain squall. Today didn't start very promising with 5-10kNt but ended up a nice sail in 12-16kNts with the old 85 wide formula and 7.5 Ezzy. Gordon snapped a NP mast and had to swim it in unfortunately. | ||||||||||||||||||
