Naish FW, Ezzy 7.0 Slalon 30. Herby got me on speed but considering he is now in the 30's club, so he should. Great little session.

Hans seemed to be on the plane  alot for the conditions so his results should be ok

Friday off, quick sail with Sailpilot with the wind trying to figure out what it wanted to do. Undercooked with the 6.4 and 100L. Will try again tomorrow.

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Hit the water later than i would of liked .Tide was coming in fast and there was a 20 kt trade wind blowing..rigged 6.6m north sail and jumped on 101 Falcon for a quick blast..There were big waves being dumped on beach  and it was very confused sea out the back which made for some full on but fun sailing..was using a new' S10 38cm Select fin' It had plenty of drive in it and it felt rock solid in the chop, a better fin than my Nitro 38..Had a good hr of blasting around the bay, went over the handle bars once ,not sure what happened just not paying enough attention i think..A big rain squall came through just before sundown and cut my sail short ..it was time to blast home before i got wet..Am a bit low on credit with the good wife at the moment so i said i would take her to Tinaroo for a paddle board tomorrow..Fast freddie and his fan club are up there getting smashed with Hans who is a celebrating his birthday.. not sure if he is 18 or 81...He acts like he is 18..Any way i will take a rig up tomorrow and find out ...Cheers Ed..

Quick sail in b4 kid duties kicked in. Very southerly, almost SSE - straight up the beach which made for a very difficult return trip. Never the less, a sail. Looking at getting out agin over the weekend looking at the BOM charts. Those heading to GI on Sat/Sun should have a ball. Big happy 80th B/day to Hans up at Tinaroo, hope you have a great day mate.
