Hobart, TAS, AU

Sailing at the Pittwater causeway (Sorell end) with Russ.  Third day in a row using the 5.6 (with W49 and SS21).  Very windy and still feeling a bit sore after a bad catapault yesterday (black eye and feels like broken ribs).   Took it very easy, so no high speed bear-aways.  Tide was also getting lower as we were sailing making it all a bit unsafe.  However, the water was super flat and the wind was howling.  One good off the wind run would have seen 40 knots easily!!  Excuses, excuses, but just didn't feel bomb-proof today.  Especially with the squalls that were coming through at times.  Need to sail this place more often though so we are ready for days like today.

Rosevears, TAS, AU

Very windy day at Rosevears, over 30 easy. RIgged the 5.8 Koncept and just got far enough out to be in the rough channel and BANG, done a mast.Geoff came and helped de rig (big thanks mate) I managed to dropped the extension de rigging for good measure Money mouth

Very long trek back to land then back to the road but all good. Rigged Pauls 5m wave sail and got out the wave board for a second assault, loved the combo making the rough conditions much more manageable.

Lots of stuff... Feet... Legs.. Mistral wave Ezzy 5.0

Wow sounds like it might have been a Pittwater PB today Dave if you were up to it. Russ no Slalom gear, you might have been the one to do 40 there today. Oh well maybe next time. Glad you guys got out there, well done. Oh that was Steve saying that not Ferg.
