Green Island, QLD, AU Wind 12-16 knots Gear JP 91 Slalom Vii Loft Blade 7m2 Sting 2 36.

Promised wind didnt eventuate so way underdone.

Between the lulls, the weed ,the fin WEED WRAPS & then losing the car keys not happy .

The highlight of the day was watching Travis the Green Island life guard chasing down a CHINESE Tourist who was trying to leave the beach with a live Sea Urchin .Travis retreived the sea creature ,suitably chastised the Chinese man (who showed no remorse) then kicked him in the buttocks indicating not to come back .Very funny...!!!

Port Douglas, QLD, AU A couple of the big kids came up from cairns' Fast Freddie'' Billy the kid' and their coach the ledgenary 'Hoppy Bob'..We where all hopeing for big wind, Freddie and billy rigged go fast gear but i changed my mind at the last minite Rigged big sail and biggest fin i could find...Wind was up and down all arvo and a strong tide working against us..Had a good session but had to work for it..Freddies board showed it has got what it takes to kick ass in a good breeze But made him work hard when the wind was a bit soft..Billy was running hot and cold all arvo which was what the wind was doing as well. My mate' Rick Big Dog' came out and joined in the second half, he got the best of the wind and went home happy. Simmie and her partner Triston where sailing further down the beach I thing Simmie was looking for waves to play in.over all a fun session and good company.101 Falcon 7.3m wing span,40cm free ride fin..Cheers ED..

Port Douglas, QLD, AU

The day promised a great deal...maybe thats where I went wrong to start with. Thanks to Freddy, Bob & Edwardo for the banter and sing song and to my lovely wife for dinner tonight...both were excellent and enjoyed considerably. Some might argue that those two items should (and would generally) make for a great day, however I was hoping to let my sailing be the standout performer. So up and down, couldnt get started on the 6.2, Eddy made the right call and rigged big, so I came in and rigged Freddo's 8.2 Diablo, got down to the water only to find 18 or so knots hitting the beach and was way over powered on a fast incoming tide - so quickly ditch the Diablo and back on the Revo only to find the wind dropping out to well below 15knots. GGgggrrrrr Cry So, all I have managed with this pitiful effort is to add a few needed Km's to my total. It was great to catch up with lads and breifly visit a really nice part of FNQ for the day.

Headed north with Billy and Bob for a sail with Mr. Ed.    Wind all the way up the coast looked great

so rigged 6.6 O2 (bit of a mistake) but ended up have a reasonable sail though under powered

for a lot of the afternoon. Ed sailed well, making the decision to use 7.3 showed some insight and

paid off. Billy was not so lucky and changed sails to no avail. (still think he enjoyed himself even

though we could not talk to he for an hour.....)

Hoppy Bob took a couple of photos and as always was there for any advice.

Oh...did I mention I used my new/secondhand   RRD Crossfire 100 ...very comfee. Altough would have been

good to used a fin a little larger than 34.

Kurrimine Beach, QLD, AU.....Looked windy when I arrived at beach.     Rigged 5.9m Loft 02 and used the 120l S/cross.

Enjoyable session in the warm water.     Stayed the night and Rossco came down today (Sunday) but showers were too frequent.

Good to see some of the team trying to battle with the conditions with a few long walks up the beach......you're supposed to sail 'em not carry 'em, at least it was a cool sunny day.  Fred didn't enter a comment because he was in a hurry to loose his money at the casino.

Hey Freddy, you haven't told us what you think of the RRDWinkLaughing

Fred & Ed heading out with Bill on the horizon...

THIS ONE IS FOR SUE....ED & FRED AT TINAROO.

Freddy and Ed - evenly spread across the board lads. Nice one, considering the conditions. Thanks for the shots to Bob - much appreciated.FirieBob, the wind dance just summed up my day mate. It was good to see the Ed and Fred get amongst the jelly beans though.
