Dorans, wind was up and down a lot, very choppy. Was pretty underdone a lot of the time on the IS86slim and R3 5.6

Dorans, TAS, AU Bit cold today but had a good sail. wind was up and down quite a bit withn a bit too much south in it.

7. 8 B Blade  was on then limit at times but overall the right choice i think. JP 68

Stanley, TAS, AU Barely enough breeze. Just managed to break the wind drought hoodoo caused by the Cookie Monster's amost new shiny blue speed machine. I was ready to sacrifice it to the wind gods yesterday.Frown Had the bonfire ready, but Cookie didn't want to be in it. Bit selfish really.Frown Took the chance on a sniff of  a breeze today and just managed to get away with. He got it on the plane in a couple of light gusts. Barely above idle, but he managed some impressive smoke trails. Smile This is going to be worth watching if we ever get some wind. Surprised ... if I don't burn it first.

I wanted to use a bigger sail, but I was worried Cookie would let all my tyres down if I got going on something bigger than his largest sail.

I think he was hoping to keep all this secret, so don't tell himI told you.

Stanley, TAS, AU, If you want to keep a sailing session a secret then dont sail with a journalistWink. I was hoping for so much more first day out on the new (to me) board. Anyway a sail is a sail, really looking foward to the next one with a bit more breeze, the board felt great. The only thing Barry didnt mention was how cold it was, might have to get some booties... Mistral 95, NCX 6.5, Select Casper 32...

Dorans, TAS, AU

6.2 OD R4  86slim IS  32 Venom

Nice cold cruise at Dorans, was going for a nice 1 hr but as usual the wind died. Was well powered up (slightly overpowered), the new 6.2 is very grunty.
