Lekker slalom op het amstelmeer.

Nice sunny day at Horst. The wind was super light for the combo I used but I was lucky with one gust I hit at the perfect moment. It immediately showed the potential of the new Katana Race SL which will be introduced next to the Katana Race, our GPS slalom fin. The Katana Race SL is a tad less easy to ride and more slalom oriented for experienced riders,. To me it's the perfect fin for low chop and spots like Karpathos. I am sure the fin will be loved by many in future and I think it will show it's insane acceleration potential over time.

The biggest treat of the day was the way the KA Race 7.1 handled. It's by far the best sail I used for years in the low to medium range for a sail. accelleration is insane but the pest thing is the way the sail can be set. It's super easy for find the right balance. In the one gust I had that was strong enough for the sail the pull was so incredibly nice it wasn;t even funny anymore. I could really trim the board to perfection with the help of the fin and sail. It was litterally a dream and I think within the right windrange I will become a happy chappy during this years'races to come. 

Leuke funsessie in de zon, met m'n broer Jaco. Vandaag maar eens een keertje niet naar H'wijk gevaren.

Choppy session in the sun , hard to find a flat spot with the right gust and no weed....

op ontdekking geweest bij schokkerhaven. eerst door de golven geslalomd. daarna bij het eiland upwind gelopen om te kijken of ik iets met de ijzeren damwand kon in het midden van het ketelmeer. het kostte vandaag allemaal wel veel kracht in diep water maar het was echt gaaf om zo dicht langs de wand te knallen. snelheden vielen tegen, moet nog wat wennen aan de evo2 en tunen kan beter maar het was een (onverwacht) topdagje!!
