FF89, 7.0RBlade, 35 S07 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU SE 15 - 22kn

Wind was really decent but water state was rough +++.  Still can't get comfortable or confident going broad with this board as yet - I know it's probably me as everyone else who has Falcons rave about them but I'm still not convinced.  Hard to point and seems much rougher to ride in the chop but on the flip side it planes incredibly quickly, is a dream to gybe and get back into the straps.  Maybe my sailing is so heavily conditioned to the iSonics that any other board feels very foreign.

Hey Snags, similar breeze in Mackay and here I am with a badly sprained ankle from playing bloody touch football. Frustrating to say the least. About time I stuck to more age appropriate sports.

If you really want to get scared in the chop I can loan you one of my extensive collection of fast 90's slalom boards. Yout S type would have been the goods in those conditions I would think.

Bummer about the ankle Troy - I stopped playing any high impact sports years ago after snapping my patela tendon playing Rugby.

PS - You interested in the S-type?Wink

Thanks for the offer, I'll happily baby sit the S Type for you....

Bob, I think I've got a bit of time left before I totally give up on life. I'll try and restrict the self abuse to sports that really matter from now on.
