lao shi (41082km):  6 categories   Arrived at Wallyworld East to find JJ already there rigging formula gear. Decided to be optimistic and rigged anyway. Enough wind to pump on to the plane for 30 mins and then it started to die. Got on JJ's big gear and wasn't surprised he hurt his back as it was like a wrestling match. More downhaul, outhaul, raised boom, harness lines forward and mast track moved forward had it feeling a lot better. Snides and Cheryl arrived and rigged up but the killer bees got Snides and so I had to take his Reflex / *brd combo for a spin. Felt good. Hardest part with the yachting gear is getting it out of the water! Glad Snides was ok. Good to get out and not too many stinkboats. LB 7.8, Bubba, CF42 / Severne 11m (think this is the biggest sail I have ever used!) *brd Formula, bloody big fin / Reflex 4 10.7, *brd mutant thing and slightly less big deboichet 70cm.
