My first trip to Illawarra - and was that reallly worth the 2 hour drive? I suspect not. I didn't get out on the water until 3pm, had a couple of semi-powered up runs but then the wind steadily died away. My last 'run' being directly downwind at 3kts says it all... Used 7.0 GTX on 105 Falcon with 19cm Delta Slalom (its first outing). Should have taken the 8.3 but I believed the forecast..!

Tis a pity the wind did not come through last Saturday. I was so amped up for a big day and did not go out in the puffy wind. The wind, weed and cold turned me off. Had a good time all the same at Canton Beach as we stayed there overnight and had a good day with old Pete on Sunday.
