Gusty light SW.  A nice cruise on the SUP back where it all began. Got the big ship up planing for the first time.  So much fun.  Chuckling to myself remembering 13 year old me battling to uphaul a 6m bag sail on a loooong skinny old HiFly then somehow sail in the swirly Twofold Bay winds.  I'm not even sure I could sail that gear now in those conditions let alone as a scrawny kid, yet it somehow ignited that crazy passion that has consumed me into my wrinkly old age.  The grin on my face is still the same 

Canton Beach, NSW, AU. Happy New Year all. Thought I'd post just to get runs on the board. Tried the borrowed 180L Naish (thanks Mark) couldn't handle sail size (8.5) wind speed and lack of experience. Will be going back to mothership for the near future to rack up more experience with the 2 new sail sizes coming should be good. Look forward to a great year ahead with everyone. Congratulations Matt on your number one ranking for 2013.

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Nice afternoon, looked like it wouldn't come in, but was good for some nice smooth runs. Out with Mick, Frothie, Byron, Greg and ol Pete.

Same gear as the other day, Old Mistral Edge 268, 6.6 Gaastra M6, CK95 NP mast, cut down weedy and the trusty old bent boom!

Shame you broke your boom Greg, maybe a better sail next time.
