Wasnt going to sail today but couldnt resist Was hell on my ribs going out through the chop but not too bad coming down the run on the flat water. lasted longer than i thought i would.
Wind was good at time just need the gust.
First time on the 6.2 Overdrive felt pretty good straight out of the bag very light in the hands and nice power off the wind.
Very differnet to the Blade i use to bag them out but these dont seem to like that too much.
They are already faily deep in the draft. Very happy so far.

Decent wind, had a pretty good sail, a little bit of damage to the speed board. Tried the BP 29S, not too sure about this fin, seemed to be a bit too soft.

3741 days ago Would of loved to get to Wello today but just wasnt going to happen. Tried my new (second hand) 6.3 blade today and quite different than the old one. Probably didnt help that I left the correct mast at home and had to use the 400! Plenty of wind at the train but VERY on/off. Still a great sail with Tony D and a few others. Got 36 on the JP then tried the CA for a few runs.

Stupid decision to take the speed board out in such gusty conditions but need to spend some time on it. Yes I struggled- board has enough volume to float one of my legs, lots of time swimming with the sharks but all is good unless a lost great white or killer whale mistakes me for an elephant seal.
Nice when going though, was happy with things through the chop- not that good a speed but no power off the wind and thats why im riding it in crappy conditions anyway.
Dumb catapults (it's been a few years touch wood) due to the gusty conditions & outhaul breaking loose which finished me for the day.
Wish I could've taken 7.8 out, stupid mast. Wouldn't have had to bag sail out so much then and prob wouldn't have crashed & dinted board or F*'d my leg.
