Interesting to do a comparison of two similar (100L ) wave boards.

Love my new KA Koncept 5.8 sail (2012). I loved my old one (2008 ish) but the new one is better.

Xfire 80 with 26 weedy, then Xfire 98 with 30 weedy and Turbo 6.5m

Very pleasant afternoon, if gusty with holes.

Nice to see Chris Porter with Gemma and two lovely little kids.

Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU 125 Rockret, 36weed, 6.5m. It was good to see Obelisk. Sailing day but no power.

Pinnaroo Point, 96L FSW / 7m. Fun day in Pinnaroo chop. It looked stronger that it actually was. After repairing a few dings, remembering to put in a bunt, and vaxing the surface of  my 95L "no-nose" "green machine" i was itching to use it so I did. 

I was also itching to use my brand new 6m sail, but thought better of it.

Great fun in chop, but needed more power.  Lezz picked his board wiser.

Light wind sail at Watermans, 5.8 SE Ezzy and 79l Kombat. took a while to learn how to stay in one place in such light wind but good fun even though most of it was not planing.

Nice to have my kids wave to me from the beach.

On some new (hand-me-down) gear from Chris, took some getting used to but I felt like the board really suited me being a bit more manouverable and a bit more fun.
