Stansbury, SA, AU SSW 10-20 knots

SXs 90, GPS 6.6, BP 34 weedy

Did the postal deliveries in record time to hurry to sail with Tricky and Carl. Water was pretty flat and wind was up and down. It was good to have Carl sailing with us today and there was just enough wind to have fun. Fingers crossed for a better month than the last one.

Barbie came out from under the dome to sail in the sea With Hoppy & I, Started to rig the 5m then changed to the 5.8 Carl being macho rigged the 6.6, considering the sea was a white wash do the way down it was a big call!!  But it paided off as the wind backed off & I spent a lot of time wallowing along. Nearly changed up a few time but was sent some teaser gusts, snagged a couple of good runs, just a enought to not have carl completeley flog me Kiss

Jeff turned up & the wind turned off, we had a bit of a walk of shame to  make it back to shore. Jeff decided to give it a go so I rigged the 6.6 & we all went for another blast.  Great day all round

Great day trip to StansburySmile.  Sailed with Richard (Tricky) and later Jeff (Hoppy) - great to catch up with you guys again - thanks for the coffee and after session beer - Tricky Smile.  Looked a bit iffy at the start so we decided to rig a little bigger than forecast.  Tricky glugged out to the wind line and blasted off.  I opted for the 6.6 Hot sails Maui GPS and Fanatic falcon 89 and very glad i did.  Best day yet on this combo and used the Black Project Speed Weed 31 and 1st time not at Lake George and this fin rockedSmile.

The tide wasn't real low but we managed to get hold of some nice runs during a front that made for some funLaughing.  Happy to have a mid 36 on the 6.6 in not real strong wind and sure this place with more wind and lower tide would be special....

Hoppy turned up later and we headed out for another cruise with him to keep him company.  Great spot to sail and will be back...

Best session this winter...

Stansbury - 20 - 25 knots W-SW.

Fanatic falcon 89 / 6.6 Hot sails GPS and Black Project 31 speed weed.
