Jacques van der Hout (28396km): Day 7 Luderitz Speed Challenge. This morning it was much more windy than forecasted, but sadly enough the wind angle was again to broad and this resulted again in to much chop on the course. Maybe they have to rethink the canal for next year and make it on a less broad angle. The strong wind from the morning didn't really increase during the day and also didn't turn more to SSO. Didn't rig the 5,8 so did all my runs with the 5,4 hoping for strong gusts. This was our last change to improve our speeds;-(. Tomorrow lighter winds and after this weekend we fly back to Holland.
Hans Kreisel (34576km): Different day same shit. It was pretty choppy in ghe beginning and was going fully for if then had a spin-out at 48,6knots which i could get out of and finish it was my fastest 500 but decided to wait till it got flatter but the wind died out so could make a few slow runs. Pretty disapointed we didn't get the conditions we needed
