got down ealyish to get some runs down the bank, it was pretty good but always wanted more wind.
as the bank went under of coarse the wind came in but getting too rough heaps of weed too.
Had a break and went for one hellish NM fully lit on the 6.2 and some backing off most of the time.
called it a day after that

Came early - thought the wind was building up but it took a bit longer to come in. Great sail - change my Sail setting and it made a big difference in power and through the Gust.
Is80 - 6.4 - WSP.34 great combo

JP Slalom VIII 96L, Select 33cm, EVO5 6.4m. First time at Golden Beach for round 3 of the Freerace series. Was patchy wind with too much north in it so had wind shadows from the building. Never the less it an awesome place. As for the race it's best we not speak of it. I think I have broken my toe as soon as we went out and then proceeded to drop basically every gybe. Happy with the speeds in comparison with everyone else but my toe just made things difficult. I lasted the hour but my toe is now black as the ace of spades. Had a good stack too and broke the end off a batten in the camber. There was a big gust and thought I'd sheet in and it lifted the board from the water and I became a passenger from then. Wasn't pretty. Anyway it would be great to see some more of the mob race the series with David and myself. It's great fun.
