Only a moderate seabreeze today so it was a good day for someone who hasn't sailed for years to give it a go (my son Leon).
When he last sailed about 4 years ago he was just starting to beach start and waterstart and he took up today right where he left off, sailing out to the sandbar without falling in, and managing a waterstart on the way back. He did discover just how physical windsurfing is, and decided he needed a harness. Best of all he had fun and wants to do it again tomorrow (as long as he isn't too sore). Thanks Shaw for the loan of the board.
I had a light wind sail to keep Leon company, and to try out JJ's M91, because I have been waiting for one for so long I forgot why I wanted one. I really needed more wind to get the most out of it. Thanks for bringing it down, JJ.
