Went to the train but wind was all over the place so maybe should gone to the grand. Not much water so could not do any big runs off the wind so just kept the big fin in for some nice cross wind sailing.

What a day! Zero to 30 kts! But at least it was good to be in the water and have a sail. Wind was so strong when we arrived could hardly stand up. So rigged small. But I think what ever you rigged wouldn't be right as it varied so much. Good to catch up with Peter C, Vando, Andrew, Don and others.

Unusual thing happened with my boom, the bolt came undone where it clamps onto the mast, haven't seen that before. Lucky I got back from the far end of the lake ok before I noticed it else I would have freaked out!!

Used Futura 104L, 5.3 Naish Session, 34 fin.

started out pretty crap with some 0 to 30 knot squalls.

once the sun came out wind become more consistant and ended up a good day in the end.
