A short and scary session. Should have rigged 6m, but this board is not meant Pinnaroo chop. Too fast, and also too big today.
Felt like a catstrophe waiting to happen. It wasnt' a catastrophe, but eventually I stacked it and called it a day before anything nastier happens.
I'll look for some flat water next time.

Thought I went faster than 25kts, but there it is. Stuffed up a couple of water starts, but managed a couple of planing gybes. Then off to Pinnas Pizza night, so all in all a good session.

3099 days ago Awesome session at Leighton with JJ, Norts, Ado, Craig and Claude. Lightish to start and picked up slowly to around 18-20. First time rigging the sail on the SDM north gold (Thanks for the rigging tip Steve!), and what a difference it makes off the wind. Bagged out nicely so I could go super deep. Pity my legs were too tired from the first hour to go for any decent miles at the end - sorry about the backup JJ!

3099 days ago 1 categories  Fang around gybing off the rollers for an hour. 55+ gybes. Min speeds around 11knots felt good on wave gear with a 20 peak on the way in. Looking at the stats the best alphas ranged from 123m up to 499m! best was 366m.
Nice to be on a smaller sail although it did feel a bit under done.

The Mistral 137 Carbon is a scorcher 
Only had the big board and the 7.9m with me as I was expecting a marginal breeze - ended up with 16 to 20 knots.
Heaps of fun, ocean PBs by a long way for 2 sec and NM on the big gear.
Sad to see Craig lose his board and well done Norts for a super 45 minute rescue.
Good crew down there today, nice to have Jake back out ripping it.
