Gusty and choppy at marmong today. I bailed off the formula gear onto my 80 wide slalom with an 8.6. The wind died mid afternoon I waited for a while then unrigged at which point the wind came back. Not to worry 3 days of sailing in row great stuff after a very ordinary summer so far.

Pretty good afternoon at Marmong, day 3 of the southerly. 8 guys on the water for racing. Unlucky for Bruce and Lyndon to break masts. Has been ages since we saw formula masts breaking, then two in the same day is crazy. Pretty tactical racing, with lots of windshifts and gusts/lulls. Nice afternoon but I'm about ready for the nor-easters to come back, has been ages since I've sailed one.

Just went sailing while the guys raced. Fitness level still 0 or -1.
Starting to wonder If I am getting too old for this, then I see Tibor go past and realize I need to get a grip.

A bit of formula sailingi at Marmong.
Expected better but all we got was a horrible SE that was twisting and turning.
Bruce and Lyndon broke masts jut to top it up.
Still better than cutting grass.

Really nicely powered up and after tacking all the way out to the last marker went into a Jybe and hit something , crashed and ripped my second panel , oh well decided to keep going anyway , halfway down the course went into another Jybe and felt my uni snap !!!!! Awesome luck !!!! Then went for a nautical back to shore on the safety rope and a ripped sail , so really happy with a 26 nautical .
