Great day on the water, was going to ring the 6.3 with the forcast but Hoppy mumbled some thing along the lines of dont be a girl, no guts no glory, so the 7 loft raceing blade got unrolled & rigged Slotted in a 29 Gun weed control in the CA SL 101, I was figuring on a nice short session till I got blown off the water, but alass, the wind never filled inCry, Must thank hoppy for the sail size selectionTongue out Simon & Chris joined us for a comfortable day on the water. Looks like I should have suppiled all the beer after allSurprisedWink

Stansbury, SA, AU Southerly breeze of diminishing prospects

Rigged big and settled in for a crack at the hour with Tricky. First half hour was promising and the notion of a PB had entered my thoughts, but allas, the wind gods wrecked my plan and that was that! Chris, our mate from the USA sailed a starboard hypersonic and was having his last sail with us before returning to Texas. He was sailing well. Simon popped up late, but was underdone in the light breeze. Tricky suggested the first one to reach 30 knots should shout the beer and i started dragging my foot in the waterLaughing. The beer was good.

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

Started on the (delaminating) Tabou as it was a bit underdone and slooped around on a 6.2OD, 35cm S09. Wasn't honking, but it was reasonably consistent, then I had a second session subbing in the Falcon 78l. That was a bit ambitious, I planed almost constantly, but struggled to get upwind, so had few opportunities to really run off the wind either. But I'm happy, can't sail the following two weeks, so that has to tide me over till the end of the month/summer.

Mikewho, Dave, Leon and PJ all to keep me company, and a few newcomers and kiters. All in all a good day, better than the numbers suggest!

Shane just nipped your hour when clearly you were faster?? Go figure?

Off the water by 8pm and wind was still kicking along.
