St Georges Basin, NSW, AU Naish 105sp - Blade 5.7 - BP Weed 31.

After a trial and error at PB moved to St Georges basin boat ramp, sailing behind the islands. Nice spot to rig and and easy access to the water.

Had a few good runs then wind died. Good potential for winter.

Paradise Beach, NSW, AU

R3 7.0 / Futura 101 & JP 84 / Keefy 19cm Delta

A quick few runs at Palm Beach on the Basin to remind me that I really don't like sailing in a westerly there. Very shallow and weedy that resulted in some pretty bad catapults. Regardless, I did 16.9 km more than what I would have achieved at home.

Will probably start aiming at sailing Primbee for future westerlies - especially noting that it's only an additional 30 mins of travel compared to SP.

Just heard that Matt did a PB 2 sec of 36+ knots. Well done buddy!

Paradise Beach, NSW, AU Hard sailing in the heavy few wind patches and even heavier and ever present weed patches, water a bit low and weed much thicker than last year but still managed a PB and if we get some true westerlies then maybe some more good speeds in paradiseSmile

SV OD4 7.0  SBcarve99 then SV R1 6.2  John Hall(mod)80lt

Primbee, NSW, AU

Falcon 111, OB 7.8, keef weedie dezza edition 30, then 99, 6.2 and keef red special 22

Joined the early crowd, not as early as MT but early for me, followed shortly after by the captain, and hung around all day and well worth while. Went out in morning on big gear, got 20 mins planning in a NNE before it died, so hanging out time on lake edge, good display from Ilawarra airshow over at albion park, then the clouds cleared, blue sky and the beautiful warm westerly arrived. A little freaked out by how shallow it was but had a great time, even got sunburnt.

Good to read the other gustbusters got out at SP and kurnell, congrats Matt on the great PB

Primbee, NSW, AU warmest may day in 38 yearsWink arrived to a very low tide and no wind , Dezza was rigging her 7.8 with a light nn/e so i rigged the 7.2 as my biggest sail, hang around for an 1hr or so watching Dez float around, finally  the westerly kicked in so plugged the 7.2 into the CA with a 19 weedy, a bit under finned so had a bit of trouble making ground  to windward as the wind was a bit north , not so great with the 2 sec but happy with the alpha , sorry to see you didn't make it to primbee CC  as the tide filled in the wind picked up and the water flattened out MT got a 39 2sec i'm sure you would have been up there Wink
