Bruce Healey (24088km):  Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Arrived early, no wind but it came in after an hour or so.heaps of guys, many from Sydney, too many to name. @ bad falls, a spin out with lee rail tripping & a lame fall onto the mast when foot slipped off. Now have what I think is a corked thigh & hopping around. I think the pain is officially classified as worse than child birth. I'll try not to whinge too much....well not after the first week at least. Rigged speed board from the start & it was good choice in the sometimes nuclear wind. 5.5 sail, 17 MUF. | ||||||||||||||||||
Steve Walsh (4027km):  5 categories      Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - Starboard is80, Warp 6.3, vector sw23. Very gusty and choppy conditions and tricky sailing for speed. I heard it flattened off and got strong after I left. Always the way :( File somehow got split today, so not sure how to upload the other half (James?). | ||||||||||||||||||
Andrew Haigh (48951km):  Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Crazy day. Set out with the Speed board and 5.9m and nearly got blown off the water. Came in had lunch and rigged the 5.5m, much better first run was the 38, but then the wind started to ease back. Very up and down wind with some totally insane gusts. Then a long walk in pushing the speed baord. After 4pm Hugh headed out again and looked to be going well so I was temped out on the FF79, of course once I got to the furthest point from home the wind turned off. A tough day out - We do this for fun? | ||||||||||||||||||
| rus13b (5064km): Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU mistral 91, 5.7 warp, 25 tribal weedy. A smoking ne in autum & it wasnt evn that cold. first time at budgie on the 91 & wow im stoked 2kt 2's pb. fin was catching a bit of weed a bit of stopping to clear it when going slow. great day 1st session was ok dropped off & bobbed bak in, rained a bit & it came bak smoking, norah got 45kt gust when me hugh & andy went bak out for more. gybes were so smooth, lay dwns in the flats on the inside i carnt sail that gd. Gd to see plenty there getting some, see u all 2mora if its on again. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Hugh (11029km): 3 categories  Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU a wild patchy day at budgy unfortunately turned up late and missed it but picked up for about 30 min just before dark so went back out with matty and andy and got a few great wild runs stoked to do 41 on my 58cm ca slalom board a pb for it with 6.3 racing blade great to catch up with everybody congrats steve and rus on your pbs
