One of the best days I ever had at Budgi, the wind was gusty, but planing most of the time. Could not get enough.

PD48, GPS5.5, 55/20 || PD87, GPS6.6, 55/20

Arrived at 9am and was on the water just after 10am. Sailed a solid couple of hours, then made the mistake of changing down to 5.5. Was never really loaded up on the 5.5 though. Not sure how strong it got, but didn't seem more than high-20s. Came in thinking it was getting late and time to go, but it was only 2:30, so changed back to the 6.6 and headed back out to get some distance. Barely managed much more though as the wind had dropped heaps.

Loved the fin Lessacher made me. Felt solid as a rock and trucked upwind like it was on rails. Really awesome fin!

Glad George came up for a team score. Great to sail with the Budgie crew and also to finally meet Mark and Maree.

Patrick 92 OD 6.2m BP 24 Weed speed.  Little bit underpowered most of the day.  Pretty happy with the new fin.  Bit disappointed with the result however, thought I was another couple of knots faster.  Never mind.  More practice needed.  Primbee, NSW, AU  Congratulations Nigel, George on your PB's.  Well done gents.

Go teamies!

Congratulations to powersloshin and Nigel. Great team effort to get up to Budgie for the day and clock up so many kms as PBs.

Not sure if you were joined together or what but your numbers look very similar. Very fast indeed.

Thanks George.  Will do.  Just happened to be down South for school holidays and managed to pop out for a couple of hours to sail at Primbee.  Need a few tips.  I was sailing pretty much the same speed as the rest of the guys at Primbee across the wind and alphas where about the same, but top speed was a few knots off the mark.  Maybe a bit more downhaul, more sail area (for my weight) and bear off more, but we where all on pretty much the same gear.
