Forecast was a bit dodgy but it finally came in nicely. Bit choppy out there and i rigged a tad large but there was plenty in the power department.

Great to see Tim, Shaw and Ken trying out unfamiliar territory. I reckon its better there in summer guys but today was still great for me.

Swapped fins to feel the difference. The 29 loosened up the board a bit, up wind ability was less but it still didnt spin out. 33 much more solid and the speed difference was marginal.

Good fun and solid session.

Late call to head to SB as forecast looked to be falling well short. Got the msg from Lunny that it was switching on so jumped in the car and was on the water around 2ish. Decided work on a few runs down the beaver. Wind seemed to start to drop and more importantly the tide started to drop as well. After hitting the bar decided to pack it in after tryinmg one run across the bay. Good to catch a few Pinnas and others enjoy a sunny sail.

First time to sail from carlisle st. Consistent wind out the back and a bit gusty in the pond. long runs from penguin island to the pond. hit the sand bar a few times. luckily i didnt go full tilt over the sand bar. Nice sail at SB with the pinnaroo team and thanks for showing me the ropes.

Safety Bay - IS107, Reflex 2 6.2, Weedie.  Seeing that Craig had company (Ken) in the rough stuff, Tim & I went to the pond.  Enjoyable sail after a long break and was good to see so many Pinnaroos available on a working day :)
