2742 days ago Port coogee, Pat 128, R5 7.8 Carp 40, 15 to 18 knts, Wanted to try the pat in the ocean chop. Very slippery, it just carries it speed so well between the gusts. Still haven,t cracked the 30kn nm out here yet ( so close ). All the best speeds etc were outin the middle of the bay where the wind was better.

To start with, Severne R6 7.8, Mistral 137, CL38- underpowered. Went to an R7 8.6 and had a ball. Nice to sail a SW in the sun for a change....., it's been too long!

A bit light on initially but slowly filled in & I got the board planing quite early with some pumping & bouncing
Planing most of time in the end & actually quite powered up at the end, pity I couldn't get any speed, the 7.5 & 101 just doesn't seem to go fast
Nice arvo sailing in sunshine for a change with a few team members out

In hindsight, needed the 122CF and 44CF. Great sail nonetheless. Pt Resolution challenge - made it!
Looks like it was still too cold for my favourite mermaid.
Worth the beer afterwards. Good sail with good mates.
